April 10 - April 15

Lama Tsultrim Sangpo is a senior monk and chant master at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery in Kathmandu, he completed the traditional three year retreat under the guidance of Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche and currently trains the younger monks at the monastery in the ceremonial practices.  He often spends the summer in Gomde California as the resident Lama.

This year we are fortunate that he is making a tour of the European Gomdes in spring and will be introducing the practice of Guru Rinpoche at Gomde Scotland.

The Profound Practice of The Essence of Activity of Guru Rinpoche:

The Importance of Trinley Nyingpo (Guru Rinpoche) Ritual Course

by Lama Tsultrim Sangpo at Gomde Scotland

Gomde Scotland is an integral activity of Ka-Ning Shedrup Ling Monastery in Nepal, which follows the tradition of the great Terton Chokgyur Dechen Shikpo Lingpa (1829-1870), one of the greatest visionary masters in Tibetan history. His terma revelations hidden by Guru Rinpoche – the Chokling Tersar – include the Barche Kunsel and the Great Perfection. The Trinley Nyingpo is one of the most important sections and Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche said the Barchey Kunsel is the heart essence of Padmasambhava. This profound practice is meant for our times; are concise and easy to apply.

In short, the Trinley Nyingpo includes the mandala of Amitayus, Chenrezig, the 12 manifestations of Guru Rinpoche and the 4 gatekeepers. The short version, the Koljang, as condensed by Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche is practiced already every morning including the Sang Offering at Gomde Scotland. In the future, the Trinley Nyingpo including the Tsok (feast offering) will be regularly practiced there.

Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche is delighted and offered us one of the best Lama available to learn the practice. Lama Tsultrim Sangpo is the chanting master and has given this course worldwide. He completed the traditional three year retreat under the guidance of Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche and currently trains the monks in the practice of rituals. He will teach us the sequence of the practise, the mudras, to handle the dorje, bell and dhamaru and the melodies. We hope Rinpoche will give the Trinley Nyingpo empowerment in summer. This is a single unique opportunity for everybody and this will probably not be repeated in the near future. It is the Rinpoche’s wish and therefore, highly recommended to attend the teaching.

One of the best Lama comes to Scotland with Rinpoche’s blessing,  we have an opportunity to receive the Trinley Nyingpo empowerment in summer. The brand new, marvellous Trinley Nyingpo text is printed and many blessed dorjes, bells and damarus are now available to use at Gomde.

Please come! It might be the single opportunity in your lifetime. What an incredible precious opportunity for all of us to learn the heart practice of Guru Rinpoche and celebrate it later within the Gomde family. This is your call! Please make time available and take it to heart. All the precious circumstances as interconnected pieces are falling together for us. We cannot miss it! We cannot!
