Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche’s Summer Seminar
Full Registration Now Open
Gomde Scotland Seminar with Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche
Thursday, 17 – Tuesday, 22 September 2026

Full registration is now open for the Gomde Scotland Seminar, and this is the official registration form. If you wish to join all of Rinpoche’s teachings, please plan to arrive on Wednesday, 16 September, so that you are settled and ready in time for the start on Thursday, 17 September.
If you registered interest earlier, thank you but please take a moment to complete the form below.
If you would like to register as a volunteer, please plan to arrive atleast two weeks prior to the start of the event.
This is an exciting time and our first large retreat in seven years. We need to purchase new equipment for it, so we can accommodate you all well. As a result, there has been a price increase from what was previously advertised. We have a new team supporting this work and limited resources on the ground, so we thank you in advance for your understanding and patience. Together we will make this an amazing time with Rinpoche. May there be many more to come!
The base cost is £50 per day. This includes six days of teachings and empowerments and three meals a day, and covers travel costs, tent rental, portable toilet rental, and the increased utility costs for the retreat. This cost also supports preparing the land for Rinpoche and the participants’ arrival.
Onsite accommodation is only possible for camping since our cabins are housing the team of volunteers we need to prepare for this event. We will provide single and shared tents with individual pods. Shared tents will be large enough to stand up in for a more comfortable stay. We will also provide duvets/sleeping bags, mattresses and pillows.
To make sure everyone has a comfortable place to stay, we have also booked offsite accommodation nearby — more affordable than other local options, particularly as every registration already includes breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the seminar.
Due to high demand, we are also offering offsite accommodation at Cluny Hill Hotel in Forres, which has WiFi and hot water. We will provide transportation to and from this location in the mornings and evenings, the rate includes the transport and all meals provided, and if you would like to share a tent or a room with a friend, please email bookings@gomdescotland.org.
Please note this is modest accommodation, with shared bathrooms; each room has a sink.
If you do book into Cluny’s offsite accommodation, please direct all communication and questions to bookings@gomdescotland.org — not to Cluny Hill Hotel directly.
Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel, please do so before 30 August 2026. Cancellations after this date will still be responsible for the full amount due. This reflects our agreement with our offsite housing provider and our purchase of new tents.
