Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery, Nepal
One of the largest Tibetan monasteries in Nepal, Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery is a traditional community where almost 200 monks dedicate themselves to various monastic activities. The chief lamas are Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, Tsikey Chokling Rinpoche, and Phakchok Rinpoche.

The inaugural course is an exposition of the Mūlamadhyamakakārikā by Nāgārjuna, a classic Buddhist text that uses logic to challenge all of our assumptions about the nature of reality. This text is taught over the span of two semesters and can be taken for academic credit.
On 11 th November 2008 Vajra Varahi Healthcare opened it’s headquarters and clinic in Chapagaon in the Kathmandu Valley. Built with the support of students it is staffed by paid Nepali staff and overseas volunteers. This year, one UK Sangha member who is an optometrist has been gathering donations of eye-testing equipment to take to Vajra Varahi Healthcare in the new year.
