Juniper Hill News Letter- Feb 2015
Welcoming the Year of the Wood Sheep
We hope you all have a wonderful year, filled with harmony and happiness. Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche's sends his greetings in this lovely New Year message
Looking back on the year past
Last year saw a lot of progress. One of the highlights was the visit of Lama Tenzin and Lama Oser to Pluscarden Abbey, with the monks of both traditions very much enjoying their time together.
Facing the challenges that lie ahead
Since Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche’s first visit in 2010, we have been working on the planning application to allow Hardmuir Woodland to be a purpose built Meditation Center. With the new scottish legislation, we can now apply to have specialized retreat huts on the land. It is a challenging but exciting time as we put together a master plan and we are very hopeful. It is a very expensive process and if you would like to make an auspicious connection and donation large or small, it will be very welcome. But most important of all, please keep Gomde Scotland in your hearts and in your practice, and we will keep you informed of progress.
Lama Oser in Scotland, 8-18 May 2015
We are delighted that Lama Oser is able to visit
Scotland in May to help with the all important planning application and public consultation period. More details will be announced but we expect that among other events and teachings there will be an Open Day on Sat 16th May. All Welcome!
