Gomde-web-rowan-hutThe Trustees of Gomde Trust Scotland are really, really pleased that the application has been approved.

We have been working on meeting all the requirements for many years. It has been a long, expensive and stressful journey. But now, with the change of use for the woodland to allow it to be used as a meditation centre we can move ahead for the benefit of all.  In particular, we would like to thank Suzie Tisch, Architect, Neil Sutherland of MAKAR Architects and Chris Piper Chartered Forrester for their constant support in guiding this project through to completion, often working long hours on a volunteer basis. We now look forward to implementing the first phase of the project in April 2017

Those people who are interested in meditation will find a quiet refuge. Local business will benefit from international visitors and the increased trade created in actually building the cabins. We call on volunteers to help the charity look after the woodland and come and join volunteer weekends, out in the fresh air helping us create a circle of care for the woodland.
